God had placed the vision to start the multilingual churches in Chepauk an vital part of the Old Madras city. Chepauk is inhabited by conservative non-Christians and the Echo of His Call Ministries continue to function from the following address: 10, Mohammed Abdullah Sahib 2nd Street, Chepauk, Chennai-5, South India. It is surely the grace and work of the Lord that a ministry be established among the conservative non-Christians and being sustained by the grace of the Lord for the past four decades. The main church can accommodate around 300 members and it is sound proof and air conditioned. Because of the space constraints there are around seven services on Sundays to accommodate the multitude of people in our churches. We have the following three services in Tamil at 5.30 a.m., 7.00 a.m., and 10.00 a.m. and the other language services are held as follows:Telugu at 4.00.p.m. Malayalam at 5.00 p.m., Hindi at 5.00 p.m. and English and Tamil at 6.00 p.m. in our main church. Apart from our Senior Pastor Rev. S. Sam Selva Raj there are 12 Assistant Pastors and 58 workers in the Church. Lunch is offered every week for the believers and others who participate in the third service at 10.00 a.m. which finishes at 1.00 p.m.
The main church is constrained by space and we are praying for god’s provision for the extension of the church. The place adjacent to the church is available for sale. We are praying for God’s provision in this regard and we invite God’s people to partner in this mission of God.
Besides the Church Ministry, Echo of His Call has the following ministry such as Prayer and Counseling Service round the clock. Youth ministry, Village Evangelism and other ministries to serve the cause of the Gospel is undertaken here. We conduct Sunday Children School in five different centres viz., Main Church, Nehemiah Bible College Campus, School Campus, Ellis Road and Raghavan Garden. A dedicated team of workers do this precious Ministry. The church administration is governed by a Council of Elders under the Chairmanship of Rev. S. Sam Selva Raj, Founder and Senior Pastor.
